Powers: Strong. Invulnerable. Plenty of combat experience. Keen insight into the art of destroying.

Drax the Destroyer was created to destroy the mad Titan, Thanos. It's right there in his name. He spent a lot of time destroying a lot of things but never managed to finish off Thanos. Then he died and was reborn as a smarter, slimmer, knivier person minus the hideous skullcap/cape combination and plus some badass tatoos.
He trained the final remaining member of the Nova Corps, killed a bunch of evil invading bugs from the Negative Zone, and finally destroyed Thanos. His mission now complete, he has nothing better to do than watch a bunch of kids.
